It is with heavy hearts but fond memories that the family of Rosarri (Rose) Shea of Wabush, NL announces her unexpected passing on July 10, 2018 at the age of 67 years.

 

Rose was born in St. Lawrence, NL on January 15, 1951 to Harry and Elizabeth Tarrant. She moved to Wabush in the early seventies where she met the love of her life, her husband Mike. Rose was very active with the Wabush Minor Hockey Mom’s club and the Catholic Women’s league and was always willing to lend a hand when needed. Rose was a devoted wife, loving mother, wonderful grandmother and a caring friend to many. She loved to sing, do crossword puzzles and had a gift as a wonderful story teller and writer.

 

Rose is predeceased by her husband, Michael; son, Peter; and brothers, Michael and Hugh. She will be forever loved and missed by her sons, Kent and Jamie (Stephanie) and her grandson, Luke Michael, five brothers and five sisters as well as a large circle of friends.

 

Visitation to take place at Maher’s Funeral Home, Placentia on Sunday, July 15 from 2:00pm-5:00pm and 7:00pm-9:00pm. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, July 16 at 10:30am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
