October 13, 1924 - March 11, 2019

Passed peacefully away at the Placentia Health Centre on March 11, 2019, surrounded by her loving family, Jennie McFarlane, of Freshwater, Placentia Bay, formerly of Port Royal, Placentia Bay, age 94. 

Predeceased by husband Gerard; precious daughter Donna; parents Bride and Joseph Miller; sisters Della and Annie; and brothers Tom, George and Jim.  

Leaving with cherished and loving memories: three sons Brendan (Ceceila), Henry, and Bill (Eleanor); four daughters Phyllis (John), Bernadette (Andrew), Anita (Gerry), and Wanda (Maurice); as well as her 14 precious grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, all of whom she adored. Also leaving to mourn her two sisters Mary Pomroy and Winnie Pittman, one brother Joseph Miller, son-in-law Cyril Spurvey, and a large circle of other relatives and friends.  

Specials thanks to all her caregivers over the last four years. 

Resting at Maher's Funeral Home, Placentia, with visitation on Tuesday from 2pm to 9pm, and Wednesday from 10am to 1pm.  Mass of Christian Burial to take place at Holy Rosary Church, Freshwater, on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at 2pm.  Interment to follow at Dermot McGettigan Memorial Cemetery, Southeast Placentia.
