February 15, 1950 - March 14, 2019

After a courageous battle, passed peacefully away at the Placentia Health Centre on March 14, 2019, surrounded by his loving family, Alphonsus Patrick Connors of Jerseyside, Placentia Bay, age 69.  Gentle and loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.  

Predeceased by his precious son Baby Allie, parents Raymond and Florence Connors, and grandparents Alphonsus and Ida Connors. 

Leaving with cherished and loving memories:  wife Theresa (nee Palfrey); son Wayne (Carlene); daughter Marion (Darryl); grandchildren Katie, Dylan, Leila, and Krae; great-grandchildren Benjamin, Connor, and Ryan; two brothers Wayne (Sarah) and Ray (Dorenia); three sisters Carmel Bonnell (Michael), Molly Whittle (Bill), and Ann Marie Connors.  Also leaving to mourn a large circle of extended family and friends. 

A very special thank you to his caregiver, Ellen Theresa White, whose kindness we will remember forever.  A very special thank you is also extended to the doctors, nurses and support staff of the Placentia Health Centre for the kindness, compassion and professionalism, that was shown our father and all our family during this difficult time. 

Visitation will be held at Maher's Funeral Home, Placentia on Saturday from 7pm to 9pm, and Sunday from 2pm to 5pm and 7pm to 9pm.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30am at Sacred Heart Church, Placentia on Monday, March 18th. Inurnment to take place at a later date at Dermot McGettigan Memorial Cemetery, Southeast Placentia. 

Flowers gratefully accepted.
