March 12, 1957 - December 23, 2019

Passed peacefully away on December 23, 2019 at Placentia Health Center surrounded by his loving family, a beautiful and gentle soul, Joesph Charles Barnett of Southeast, formerly Ferndale, in his 62nd year.

Predeceased by his mother Ellen and his father John, his 1st wife Linda, brothers John, Pat and Bill, sisters Catherine and Violet and sister-in-law Margaret Stoodley Hatfield (Brian).

Leaving to mourn his loving and devoted wife Louise (Stoodley) Barnett, children Pamela Barnett (Gary), Ryan Barnett (Amber), Carl Taylor (Tina), Carlene Taylor Connors (Wayne), and grandchildren Krae and April. Also mouring his loss is his special angel sister Angela and devoted sister Mary Maher (Jack) who was by his side and with him until the end, as well as special sister-in-law Irene Barnett. Also mouring his loss are sisters Geraldine Fulford (Wayne) and Elizabeth Chestnut (Kelly), brother-in-law Ed Stoodley (Loretta) and sister-in-law Shirley Stoodley Reynolds (Fred), a large circle of nieces and nephews whom he thought the world of, cousins, other family and friends.

Special Thank You to the doctors, nurses and support staff at the Placentia Health Center for your caring and compassion especially nurses Brenda McGrath, Natasha Healey, Daniele Power, Jaclyn O’Reilly and Bev Griffiths.

Visitation at Maher’s Funeral Home, Placentia on Thursday December 26, 2019 10am-8pm with funeral service to follow at 8pm.
