November 13, 1930 - January 2, 2020

Passed peacefully away on January 2, 2020 at Placentia Health Center, surrounded by her loving family, Agnes Careen of Point Lance.

Predeceased by her husband George Careen, her parents Edward F., Margaret Careen and Maudie Careen, sister Annie, parents- in-law Jeremiah and Catherine Careen, sons-in-law John Mooney and Ricky Nash, and nephew Foncy Careen.

Leaving to mourn with fond and cherished memories her children Jenny (Francis), Brennie, David (Elaine), Anne (Raymond), Patsy, Sadie, Jerry (Orinda), Georgina (David), Edwina (Donnie), and Gregory (Farrah); 24 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren, who had a special bond with her; many nieces and nephews; her sister, best friend and confidant, Sadie Nash; her morning and daily visitors whom she looked so forward to having her tea and smoke with; also a large circle of friends from all over.  

Special mention to Mom’s home care worker, Roxanne Whelan, who took such good care of her during this past few months.  

Visitation to take place at Mary Queen of Peace Church, Point Lance on Saturday and Sunday.  Mass of Christian Burial will take place 1pm on Monday at Mary Queen of Peace Church, with interment to follow at Point Lance Cemetery. 

Flowers greatly accepted or donations can be made to the Kidney Foundation.
