June 6, 1926 - September 1, 2020

Passed peacefully away at Hillcrest Estates, Mount Pearl, Theresa Mary Dray, age 94 years.  Formerly of Little Bona, Little Paradise and Dunville, Placentia Bay.

Theresa was the last of her siblings, children of James J. and Margaret (Brennan) Dray.  Predeceased by parents, brothers Michael (Elizabeth deceased), (Ethel deceased), and Patrick; sisters Elizabeth Hartley (Edward deceased), Mary French (William deceased), and Margaret Drake (Robert deceased).

Leaving to mourn many nieces, nephews and cousins, also other relatives and friends.

Theresa was a very independent lady who was the mainstay in the care of her father and younger brother.  She supported the family by her knitting and quilt making and being a very frugal homemaker.  Many a home in Dunville can boast of having one of her many quilts.  Her faith in God was unparalleled.  May she rest peacefully now with Him.

A special thank you to the staff of Hillcrest Estates, especially Carol Ann Greenslade, for their nearly fourteen years of care to Theresa and previously to three of her siblings.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice in memory of Theresa.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to Maher's Funeral Home.  Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road, St. John's on Friday, September 4th from 11am to 2pm.
