It is with saddened hearts the family of Cecilia Mary McCue announces her passing at the Lion's Manor Nursing Home, Placentia on November 7, 2020 at the age of 77. 

Cecilia was a retiree of the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) and is predeceased by her parents Jack and Clara McCue (Murray), her brother Francis, and nephew John.  Also predeceased by her Aunt Mary (Min) and Uncle Peter McCue who at the passing of her mother, Clara, in 1950, lovingly raised her in Fox Harbour.  

Leaving to mourn her sister-in-law Elaine McCue (Lannon); her nieces Clara McCue (Geoff Veinott) and Marlene Walsh (Barry); John's wife Tammy McCue; grand nieces and nephews Norah, Ian, Ryan, Caroline, Lily, Bridget, Hannah and Jack; her sisters in North Carolina, Katherine "Kitty" Poston (McCue) and Sharon Acosta (McCue) and their families; as well as many relatives of the McCue and Murray families.

It has been said that "there are friends, there is family and there are friends who become family."  Cecilia was blessed with so many good friends during her time at the bank, in Placentia, and in her beloved Fox Harbour.

During her 8 years at the Lion's Manor, Cecilia received the unwavering care and friendship of all the staff who went above and beyond for "their" Cecilia.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to Maher's Funeral Home, Placentia.  Visitation to take place on Monday from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm.

Mass of Christian Burial to take place 10:30am on Tuesday, November 10th at Sacred Heart Church, Fox Harbour.  Inurnment to take place at a later date.
