Nora Hogan

July 20, 1941 – December 16, 2020

Passed away peacefully surrounded by family at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home on December 16, 2020, Nora Mary Hogan, of Branch, at the age of 79.

Leaving to mourn are daughters Denise (Tom Kehoe), Sharon, and Arleen (Derek Critch); and son Michael; grandchildren Katie, Nicholas, Emma, Alexa, and James; sisters Sadie (Joey McGrath) and Catherine (Tony Myles); brothers Eugene (Rita) and Len (Marian); sister-in-law Patsy. 

Predeceased by husband Michael, parents Katherine and John, and brothers John and Edward (Neddy).

Many thanks to Dr. Pace and the staff of 4NorthB at the Health Science Centre for their outstanding attention and care. And many thanks to the staff at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home for their compassionate care during her final illness.

Thank you to all her wonderful friends and neighbors in Branch, her home that she so dearly loved. She brought us all a love and a joy that will be impossible to replicate. She will be dearly missed.

Visitation will take place on December 17, 2020 from 4pm to 9pm at Maher's Funeral Home in Placentia (11 Veteran’s Way).

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 Public Health Emergency, visitation is permitted with restrictions. The maximum number of people permitted in the visitation room at one time is 20 people. All visitors must sign in and sign out for contact tracing purposes, and masks must be worn at all times.  Hand sanitizer will be provided and is to be used upon entering and exiting the building.  Please visit www.mahersfuneralhome.ca for additional information regarding COVID-19 restrictions. 

Funeral mass will take place on December 18, 2020 at 11am at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Branch. Interment to follow at Holy Rosary Cemetery, Branch.
