Jerome Lake Sr. of Dunville, formerly of St. Kyran's, Placentia Bay, passed peacefully away surrounded by family after a short illness at Carbonear General Hospital on June 15, 2021, aged 92 years. 

Predeceased by mother Margaret and father Patrick Lake; brother John (Loretta), Tom, Peter (Loretta); sister Madeline; daughters Madeline and Marilyn; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Billy and Mary Fitzgerald. 

Leaving to mourn, loving wife of 65 years, Loretta; sons Jerome (Bridget), Brian (Cindy), Gerard (Laura), Gary (Dianne), Peter (Daunel), Randy (Angie), Rodney (Rose), and daughter Linda. 

23 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and last remaining brother and best friend, Wish (Hannah); sister-in-law Stella.

Also leaving to mourn a large circle of family and friends.

Special thanks to caregiver Gladys Snook of 5 years; and the physicians and nursing staff of Carbonear General Hospital.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to Maher's Funeral Home, Placentia. Visitation to take place on Wednesday, June 16th, from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral to take place on Thursday, June 17, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anne's Church.
