It is with profound sadness and broken hearts, we the family of Elaine Maher nee Hatfield, announce her sudden passing on October 4, 2021 at the age of 63.  

Predeceased by her mother and father, Andrew and Kathleen Hatfield; brother Alf, mother and father-in-law Eileen and John Maher; sisters-in-law Terri, Margaret, Joan and Anita; brothers-in-law Don and Dan; special cousins Lisa and Wayne; and friend Clayton. 

Left with broken hearts and treasured memories are her loving husband Bub (Edward); her pride and joy, daughter CarolAnn; special neice and nephew, Alison and Ryan, whom she adored; and her fur-babies Simon and Jack.  Also leaving to mourn siblings Patricia (Don), CarolAnn, Alice, Brian, Bernie (Ralph), and John (Roseann); in-laws Pat, Adrian (Mary), Greg, Margaret (Thomas), Johnny (Anne), Eileen (Mike) and their families; as well as neices, nephews, aunts and other extended family and friends, whom Elaine thought so dearly of. 

Funeral arrangements entrusted to Maher's Funeral Home, Placentia.  Visitation to take place on Thursday, October 7th from 1pm to 9pm.  Mass of Christian Burial to take place 10:30am on Friday, October 8, 2021 at Sacred Heart Church, Placentia. 

Graveside Committal Service will take place on Thursday, June 23rd at Dermot McGettigan Memorial Cemetery.  The procession to the cemetery will leave Maher's Funeral Home at 11am.
