Rondell Roy Cline (Ron)
left this world January 14, 2022 after a fight with
cancer.
He leaves to mourn his wife Ann Marie, children Ron and
Crystal, sisters Char and Bonnie, grandchildren
Mackenzie, Ethan, and Marlie, his dog Casey, The Leonard family, as
well as many other family and friends.
Ron served in the US Navy for 20 years and retired as Chief
Petty Officer. During this time he met his wife at
the Navy Base in Argentia. Following his retirement in the Navy, he
made Freshwater, Newfoundland his home. His second
career was again at sea as Master Rigger on Hibernia oil platform. He
took great pride in his work, and loved life very much. Ron was a
caring, kind man, who loved a cup of Tim’s coffee and
talking about the glory days.
As one of his favourite songs said,
"I travelled each and every highway…much more
than this, I did it my way."
The family wishes to thank nurses and doctors at St.
Claire’s Mercy Hospital.
Ron has been cremated as his
request. A Celebration of Life will be held at the
Freshwater Community Centre on Saturday, June 18th from 2pm to
4pm.
