July 4, 1943 – August 7, 2022

Passed peacefully away at his home in Bond’s Path, Placentia on August 7, 2022, Adrian Meade at the age of 79, originally from Freshwater.

Adrian was a kind, gentle man who loved his family dearly. He also loved his friends and animals.

Predeceased by his wife Sylvia; parents Robert and Lucy Meade; brother Edward; sisters Lena, Mary, Hannah, Lucy, Carmel, Monica, Thomasine, and Bernadette; and parents-in-law Reginald and Regina Greene.

Leaving to mourn his three sons Bobby (Shauna), Glen (Rae Lynn), and Corey (Janine); his grandchildren Christian, Thanden, Jessica, Raegan, Logan, Adrian, Adaleigh, Ava, Riley, and Reese; and special family friends Natalie Briand, Wayne Meade, Art Brooks, Tommy Maher, and Gerry Ducey.

Also left to mourn four brothers Jack (Patricia), Gordon (Rose Marie), Eddie, and Bob (Jane); sister-in-law Philomena; brothers-in-law George Wiscombe, Wayne Searle, and Peter Kelly; also many nieces and nephews.

He will be lovingly remembered by the Greene family: Harry (Eva deceased) partner Frona, Jean Ann (Vince), Linda (Bob), Rose (Howard deceased), Matt (Sylvia), Reg, Shirley (Barry), Albert (Sharon), and Brendan (Kathy). 

Cremation has taken place.  Visitation will be Thursday, August 11, 2022 at Maher’s Funeral Home from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm.

A funeral service will take place at on Friday, August 12, 2022 at Maher’s Funeral Home, Placentia.  Inurnment to follow at Dermot McGettigan Memorial Cemetery, Southeast Placentia.
