July 9, 1953 - January 2, 2023

Marguerite Mary Tobin (nee Mulrooney) formerly of Red Island, Placentia Bay, residing in Trepassey, passed away surrounded by her loving family at Lions Manor Nursing Home, Placentia on January 2, 2023 at the age of 69.

Predeceased by her parents John and Bernadette Mulrooney, two sets of grandparents, in-laws James and Louise Tobin, and brothers-in-law Anthony Spurvey, Stephen Griffin and John Mulcahy.  

Left to mourn with fond and loving memories husband Michael; daughter Sheila; brothers Pats (Chris), Dan (Barb), Berk (Kay), Jackie (Rose), Wayne (Tracey), and Tommy (Marilyn); sisters Loretta, Mame (Larry), Carm (Ray), Kitty (friend Charlie), and Dottie (Darrell); sisters-in-law Dorothy, Bernadette (Barry), Doreen (Churchill), and Theresa (Ray); as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.  

The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at the Lions Manor for their care and compassion.

Resting at Maher's Funeral Home, Placentia on Wednesday, January 4th from 2pm to 9pm.  Funeral Service to take place 1pm on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Maher's Funeral Home, Placentia, followed by interment at Dermot McGettigan Memorial Cemetery, Southeast Placentia.
