OLIVER, Bernard Aloysius

May 4, 1953 - December 26, 2022

Passed unexpectedly but peacefully away on December 26, 2022, Bernard (Bernie) Oliver, age 69.

Predeceased by his wife, Geraldine (Power), his parents Amy & David Oliver and brothers Barry and Michael.

Leaving to mourn with cherished memories, his beloved girlfriend, Muriel Felt - whose unconditional love and support was unmeasurable, and for that we are truly grateful!  His children Dale(Dawn) of Alberta, Holly of Alberta and his grand-kids Noah, Owen, Jude, Cassie, Emily and Shay.  His sisters Theresa(Don), Carmel(Barry), Janet(Robin), brothers David(Joan), Wayne(Lori) and Basil(Sandra) and many nieces, nephews and friends.  His life long friends Terry and Kitty Rice - so many memories of your times together, and special friends Jackie and Pauline who always found time to drop in on Bernie on a regular basis.  He enjoyed your visits and looked forward to them - thank you!

Donations can be made to your local Food Banks as Bernie was a firm believer in always helping those in need. Whether is was monetary, lending a hand, or doing chores for his fellow man he did so with a BIG heart and always a smile on his face - nothing was too big or small.  It gave him great pleasure to help others.

Arrangements entrusted to Maher's Funeral Home, Placentia.  There will be a Celebration of Life for Bernie at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 (2 - 4) & (7 - 9).  A wake & burial service will take place later this summer at Parsons Funeral Home in Deer Lake.

It is in giving to all men that we receive
And in dying that we are born to eternal life.

God Bless You All!
