GREENE, Raymond Francis -  Freshwater, P.B.

January 21, 1938 – January 11, 2023

With great sadness, we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Raymond Francis Greene, aged 84 years, after a lengthy battle with dementia. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 65 years, Anna (nee Dicks), daughter Yvonne Tucker (Keith) and son Ray Greene Jr. (Mary).  Pre-deceased by his parents Richard and Mary Greene, his brothers Paddy and Edward, his sisters Rita, Irene and Evelyn, and other members of the extended Greene and Dicks families.

He will be remembered fondly by his five grandchildren, Adam Tucker (Jennifer) of Halifax, Chris Tucker (Jessica) of Halifax, Matthew Tucker (Amber) of Labrador City, Stacey Andrews (Kevin) of St. John’s, and Zack Greene of Placentia. His six great-grandchildren, Logan, Maeve, Chanelle, Brynn, Lucy and Veronica.

He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews as well as a large circle of friends and extended family members. His inspirational love of family is a legacy for all. Beyond his family, Raymond’s passions included his accomplished singing and guitar playing and a lifelong love of rowing his traditional dory.

Raymond had a long and successful career in business and professional sales. May he rest in peace and his memory provide comfort to his loved ones.
