Jackie Barry Coffey

February 8, 1959 - February 8, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jackie Barry Coffey who died suddenly at the Health Science Centre February 8, 2023 at age 64.

Predecesed by her loving husband Vaughn, father Jack Barry, sister Carmelita Hann, brother-in-law Anthony Picco, her mother-in-law and father-in-law, and sister-in-law Susan.

Leaving to mourn her mother Annie Barry, and sisters Maureen, Geraldine, Doloris and their families, plus extended family and a large circle of friends.

Jackie spent her career with the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador as a professional and dedicated public servant for 40 years. Jackie was a social butterfly whose presence filled the room with warmth and laughter. She enjoyed life to the fullest, a life she shared with a large circle of friends who adored her. She was a compassionate, generous, kind and loving person and always there to lend a helping hand or offer a shoulder to lean on. Jackie's smile and laugh will forever be missed but fondly remembered by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Cremation has taken place. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Maher's Funeral Home in Placentia. On Wednesday, February 15, 2023, visitation will take place 10AM-12:30PM, funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 12:30PM, followed by burial at Dermot McGettigan Memorial Cemetery in Southeast Placentia.
