Leo Hennessey

February 3, 1945 - May 10, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Leo Hennessey.

Leo passed away May 10, 2023 at the age of 77 years. Predeceased by his father Edward and mother Mary, his brothers John (late Mary), Joseph (late Geradine), Edward (Nicole), sister Mary (late Wallace) and infant brother Peter. 

Left to mourn are his children Curtis and Chris (Corrine), his sister and long term supporter Lucy (late Patrick), Mercedes (late Keith), Peter (late Aline), Laura and Patrick (Elizabeth), grandchildren Abigail and Cassandra, and many members of the Hennessey, Counsel, and Collins clans.

Visitation will take place at Maher’s Funeral Home in Placentia on Sunday, May 14th from 2-4 and 6-9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Rosary Church in Freshwater, Monday, May 15th at 10:30 a.m. Inurnment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Placentia.
