Doreen Mary Ennis-Greene

March 10, 1948 - September 14, 2023

She was dearly loved and will be fondly remembered.

Called to her heavenly home after accepting without complaint the diagnosis of inoperable cancer, Doreen's departure leaves not only her family but all who knew her with a deep sense of loss.

Even though Kevin her husband of 53 years, her son Kevin Jr. (Melissa), her daughter Joanne, her grandchildren Brianna (Ryan), Tarrah (Ryan), Matthew and Paige, and her great-grandchildren James, Skylar, Joshua, Ava and Remmi-James were the center of her world, Doreen's love, compassion and kindness flowed out to her many nieces, nephews and friends.  Doreen will be forever missed and remembered by her sister Patricia, her brother Frank (Vera) and her sister-in-law Magdalen.

While Doreen's departure brings great sadness to our family and community, her daughter Tina, her parents James and Annie Ennis, her brother Louis and her sisters Angela and Barbara joyfully welcome her to their heavenly home.

Sincere thanks to the medical professionals who have ministered to Doreen, to Father Jose and Father Jerome for their support, and to all her friends for their care and concern during her time of illness.

Visitation will take place at Maher's Funeral Home, Placentia on Sunday, September 17th from 2pm to 9pm.  Vigil will be held at 7pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Jerome's Church, Long Harbour on Monday, September 18, 2023 at 2pm.

You are all invited to a social gathering at the Town Hall following Mass.

Inurnment will follow with graveside service on a date to be announced.
