Sarah Marietta
Griffiths Ennis—affectionately known to many as Aunt
Sadie—passed peacefully away at the Placentia
Health Center on December 14, 2023 after a short battle with
cancer.
Predeceased by

brothers Bill Hayward (Rose), John (Mary), Gerry (his first wife
Margaret and second wife Emma), Ray, Bob (Diane); sisters
Anne (Don) and Marietta; nephew Ron Griffiths; and nieces Marietta
Griffiths and Carol Dalton.
Leaving to
mourn are her nieces and nephews, The Ennis family, Mary, Jean, Carmel
(Bill), John, Liz, Joseph (Carmen), Ernie (Leah); sister-in-law
Marion; brothers-in-law Mark Cole, and Everet Bennington;
her special friends Beth and Dan Greene; Godson Michael
Collins; as well as a large circle of family and
friends.
Sadie touched
so many lives and she was loved by all who had the pleasure of her
friendship. Sadie devoted her life to others whether it was
her family, her friends, the choir, the Girl Guides,
or volunteering whenever needed. She was someone you could
always count on to lend a helping
hand.
Sadie had a
passion for genealogy and was always willing to share her research of
the family history with anyone wanting to add to their own research.
She loved music, painting, and crafting. She wrote a book with John
Lou and enjoyed sharing her many talents with
others.
We were very
blessed to have such a wonderful influence in our lives for so many
years. She taught each and everyone of us so much and made everyone
feel special to
her.
Special thanks
to the amazing staff at the Beachside Manor and the Placentia Health
Center for their compassion and
care.
Sadie was a
faithful blood donor well into her 70’s and the family would
like to encourage anyone who can to please take the time to
donate in honor of this wonderful
lady.
