Passed peacefully at Lions Manor Nursing Home on March 28, 2024, Walter J. McGrath of Branch, NL, at the age of 88.

Predeceased by parents Paddy and Emma McGrath; sisters Mary Lucy, Annie (Nicky), Rita, and Mary; and baby brother Walter.

Leaving to mourn his sister Lena Bonham; brothers Patrick (Madonna) and Joey (Hilda); many nieces and nephews, especially Walter Nash who provided caring support over the years; a large circle of extended family members and friends; as well as special friends Geraldine and Mae. 

Special thanks to staff at the Lions Manor Nursing Home, Placentia Health Centre, and Carbonear General Hospital for their care and kindness over the last several weeks.  

Funeral arrangements entrusted to Maher's Funeral Home, Placentia.  Visitation will take place at Holy Rosary Church in Branch on Friday, March 29th, starting  at 12:00pm.  Funeral Service to take place on Saturday, March 30th at 2:00pm at Holy Rosary Church, Branch, followed by Holy Rosary Cemetery, Branch.
