Colleen and Danielle and her Husband, Jackie at Carbonear General
Hospital. Predeceased by her parents Daniel and Catherine White,
parents-in-law John and Bernadette Mulrooney, aunt Mary and uncle Joe
Ennis, great aunt Sister Mary Bertrand Hynes, brothers-in-law Anthony
Spurvey and Steve Griffin and sister-in-law Marguerite Tobin. Leaving
to mourn her loving and devoted husband John (Jackie) Mulrooney of 45
years; daughters Colleen Mulrooney (Joey Wells) and Danielle Roberts
(Justin Roberts); grandchildren who she cherished dearly Claire Wells
and Brayden Howlett-Vicars; sisters Paula White and Carol Ann White;
brothers-in-law Pats (Chris), Dan (Barb), Berk (best friend Kay),
Wayne (Tracey) and Tommy (Marilyn); sisters-in-law Loretta, Mame

a large circle of nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, other

by all that had the pleasure of her friendship. She never judged
anyone and welcomed all with open arms and there was never a shortage
of food for the crowd on special occasions. Rose devoted many years of
service with the ladies auxiliary at the Star of the Sea Association
as an honorary member. She was always there for her children and
grandchildren, whether it was to come to St. John’s to take
care of them or just to spend quality time. We were very blessed to
have such a wonderful influence in our lives for so many years. She
taught each and every one of us so much and made everyone feel
special. She was well known for making special treats for special
family and friends.
Special thanks to ICU and 7 th floor
staff of Carbonear General Hospital for the amazing care and
compassion they provided our Mother during her stay.

I made it home
I just wanted to let you know
That I made it home.
Everything is so pretty here,
So white, so fresh, so new.
I wish that you could close your eyes so
You could see it too.
Please try not to be sad for me,
Try to understand.
God is taking care of me…
I’m in the shelter of his hands.
Here, there is no sadness,
And no sorrow, and no pain.
Here, there is no crying,
And I’ll never hurt again.
Here it is so peaceful,
When all the angels sing.
I really have to go for now…
I’ve just got to try my wings.
