August 9, 1947 - April 28, 2024
 
Louise Virginia Barnett (nee Stoodley), 76, of Jerseyside passed away peacefully on April 28, 2024 at home in the presence of her devoted children.
 
Louise was predeceased by her mother and father Loretta (nee Fahey) and Maxwell Stoodley, sister Margaret Hatfield (Brian), husband Joseph Barnett, step mother Jean Stoodley, husband and father of their children Carlson Taylor, special sister-in-law Mary Maher (Jack) and many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law of the Taylor family.
 
Louise will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by her son Carl Taylor (Tina) and daughter Carlene Connors (Wayne), grandson Krae Taylor, granddaughters April Newhook (Chris) and Katie Ryan (Warren), 5 great grandchildren Benjamin, Connor, Ryan, Camron and Makenzie, sister Shirley Reynolds (Fred), brother Edward Stoodley (Loretta Dray), stepsister Marilyn Hoyles and Beverly Hickey, many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews, "the girls", her linedancing buddies, her Tai Chi friends, her dart league friends and many many dear friends especially Lorraine, Lol, Irene, Eleanor, Wanda, Stacy, Cathy, Betty, Donna, Margie, Dana, Anna and sister-in-law Irene.
 
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Maher's Funeral Home, Placentia.  A celebration of life will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, May 2nd from 11am to 6pm followed by a funeral service at 6pm. 
 
Special thank you to her medical/care team Dr. Power, Dr. Goucher, Dr. Rourke, Dr. Rockel, Kelly Culleton, Vivian Careen, Nicole Richardson and Maggie O'Keefe for all of their care and compassion.
