It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lucy Bridget McCue at the age of 72 on April 25, 2024. Lucy passed peacefully away in her home, Wheatland California while formally from Freshwater Placentia Bay in the presence of her loving family.

Predeceased by her Parents Elizabeth and Phillip McCue; brothers John, Mark, and Edward; sisters Matilda, Agnes, and Phyllis.

Leaving to mourn with loving memories her children Rustin (Brittney) and Jodi (Steve); grandchildren Rustin II and Kaine; brother Jude; sisters Rose and Anne (Bill).

Also left to mourn is her dear friend Aiko, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Lucy devoted countless years of unwavering love to her precious grandchildren. A passionate seamstress, she approached each sewing project with enthusiasm and skill, tackling the most intricate designs with joy and ease. Her leisure moments were often filled with games and laughter, as she indulged her passion for bingo alongside great friends. Though California was her home for most of her life, Lucy's heart remained tethered to Freshwater, where she eagerly returned to create more memories in the presence of her beloved brothers, sisters, and extended family.

Lucy's remains have been cremated according to her wishes and the details of her memorial service will be announced at a later date.
