With tremendous heartbreak, we announce the sudden passing of
Doreen Power at the Health Sciences Centre surrounded by her
family.
Predeceased by her mother and father Annie M. Power (Nash)
and Ignatius Power from Branch, St. Mary's Bay.
Leaving to mourn her beloved twin sister and best friend
Bernie and her niece Anne Piras (Gian). Doreen was a second mother to
Anne and words can't express the loss we are feeling at this time.
Also leaving behind a large circle of friends and relatives,
especially her best friend of many years Eileen Webber and Godchild,
Virginia Day (English) and Wilfred Dohey who always put a smile on her
face when she called St. Brides. We also have to mention leaving
behind her precious cats, 20 year old Lucy and 11 year old Ivan, who
were always by her side.
A very Special thanks to dear cousins Bernadette Druken,
Patricia and Donna Dohey for their support and help in navigating us
through this most troublesome time.
Cremation has taken place. A Mass of Christian burial to be
held at Holy Rosary Church, Branch, St Mary's Bay on Monday, June 17,
2024 at 10:30 am.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Maher's Funeral Home,
Placentia.
