It is with saddened hearts the friends of Leonard Pittman
announce his passing on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at the age of 66 at
the Lions Manor Nursing Home, Placentia.
Leonard is predeceased by his mother Lillian Pittman, his
father Jack Pittman, and the love of his life Doris
Stull.
Leaving to mourn his sister Debbie Pittman, two nieces Dakota
Pittman and Kennedy Pittman, his cousin Sandy, and a great circle of
friends, especially Dale Follett, Todd Ennis, Jason Ryan, Richard
Williamson, Barb Follett and Mary King.
Leonard was a quiet man who enjoyed the simple things in
life. He was happiest in the garage with his buddies,
filling the space with his signature laugh. There wasn't
anything he wouldn't do to help a friend, and his love for each of
them was immeasurable.
A special thanks is to all the staff at Placentia Health
Centre and the Lions Manor Nursing Home for the wonderful care that
they afford Leonard and helped to make the last few months of his life
comfortable and peaceful.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Maher's Funeral Home,
Placentia. Visitation to take place on Thursday, April 23rd
from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 9pm. Funeral service to take
place 11am on Friday, April 24th at Maher's Funeral Home, Placentia,
followed by interment at Dermot McGettigan Memorial Cemetery,
Southeast Placentia.
As we bid farewell to Leonard, let us carry forward the
memories and laughter he brought into our lives. Though he
may no longer be with us in body, his spirit will forever echo in our
hearts, reminding us to cherish each moment and hold tight to the bond
of friendship.
