It is with great sadness that we the family of Gary Griffin announce his death on Sunday, May 31 at the age of 65. 

He leaves to mourn his companion Barb, daughters Krystal (Robert) and Kayla, and son Kevin (Melinda). Also, left to mourn are his mom, Mary; brothers Pius (Marie), Carl (Linda), and Paul; and sisters Debbie and Darlene (Dale).  He leaves behind grandchildren Hudson, Harlan, Everett, and Nolan;  as well as a number of nieces, nephews, aunts, an uncle, other family members and friends.

He is predeceased by his father Adrian, brother Kevin, sister Janice, and nephew Matthew.

Gary was a quiet man who loved to sing and play the guitar.  His kind, gentle spirit and genuine concern for others was displayed throughout his life, especially the deep love and care he showed to his mother.  He will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Maher’s Funeral Home, Placentia. Cremation has taken place.  Visitation will take place Friday, June 5 from 10:00am – 2:00pm.  Funeral Service will take place shortly thereafter 2:00pm at Maher’s.  Inurnment to follow at Ship Harbour Cemetery.
