With heavy hearts we share the passing of Sheila (O’Reilly) Haldane, peacefully on July 16, 2026 at the age of 66 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.

Dear wife of Angus; beloved mother of Kelly (Joshua) and Mark (Samantha); and adored grandmother of Emmett, Clara, and Winston.

Predeceased by her parents, Lawrence and Hannah O’Reilly; her brothers, Raymond, Carl and Roland; her sisters Madonna O’ Reilly and Maureen Alfano; brother-in-law  Dale Scott; and parents-in-law William and Margaret Haldane.

Left with love and cherished memories her brothers, Paton (Beulah), Brendan (Judy), and Gerard (Kathleen); Her sisters, Edwina Scott, Marilyn (Dave) Moore, Ann (Ray) Whiffen, Cathy (Ralph) Mattsson; her sister-in-law Theresa O’Reilly and brother-in-law John Alfano. She will also be lovingly remembered by her Haldane family sisters-in-law Janet O’Reilly, Billie (Gerard) O’Reilly, Margaret Haldane and Heather Haldane; and brother-in-law Duncan (Kellie). 

She leaves behind many nieces and nephews, all of whom held a special place in her heart. Along with her loving family, Sheila leaves behind many friends but especially her cherished lifelong friend, Sandy Mulrooney, whose friendship was a constant source of love, laughter and support throughout her life.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to Maher's Funeral Home, Placentia.  Vistitation to take place on Thursday, July 30 from 2pm to 5pm and 7pm to 9pm.  Funeral Service will take place 2pm on Friday, July 31 at Maher's Funeral Home, Placentia.  Inurnment to follow at Rev Dermot Mcgettigan Memorial Cemetery, Southeast.
