With saddened hearts we announce the passing of our beloved sister, Barbara Irene Miller (nee Hartson), formerly of South East Placentia, at her residence in Calgary, on April 20, 2012. Age 54 years.
Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Ruby Hartson, her sisters Phyllis Becker and Madonna, and brother Johnny.
Leaving to mourn with cherished memories her partner Doug; her brothers Alex Hartson (Gertie) South East Placentia, and Paddy Hartson (Marie) Jerseyside; her sisters Anne Dalton (Herb) Massachusetts, Alice Hartson (Chuck) Placentia, Margie Pitcher (Vern) Dunville, Theresa Collins (Tom) South East Placentia, Betty Whittle (Gerard) South East Placentia, Stella Perham (Pat) Mount Pearl, Cindy Hickey (Leo) Mount Pearl, and Debbie Rowland (Matt) Florida; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
Resting at Maher’s Funeral Home, Placentia, with visitation on Monday from 7pm-9pm, and Tuesday from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-9pm. Funeral Mass to take place at Sacred Heart Church in Placentia at 11am Wednesday, April 25th. Interment to follow at Dermot McGettigan Memorial Cemetery, South East Placentia.
