It is with broken hearts we announce the tragic passing of our dear angel, Joshua Gerald-Raymond Hickey at 19 years, on April, 26, 2014, after a tragic unexpected accident.

Predeceased by Grandfather Gerald Hickey, and Uncle Gary Bowering.

Leaving to mourn his loving parents Jerry and Valerie Hickey, and adoring sister and best friend Jessica; Grandparents Raymond and Fredrica Bowering; Grandmother Josephine Hickey; Uncles Jeff (Imsoo), Paul (Lorraine), Jim (Linda), and Don (Dorris); Aunts Daphine (Charlie), Linda (Gerry), Susan (Wayne), and Dawn; Cousins Melinda and Kelly Bowering, Zachary, Brenna and Emily Hickey, Liam and Sydney Pitman, Robert and Rebecca Bowering and Brianna Hunt. Also leaving to mourn extended family members and a very large circle of loving, devoted friends and Buddies in Labrador City and beyond, who all meant the world to Joshua. As well as his little buddy Bear.

Josh had a huge impact on many lives during his journey in life. He was admired for his athletic and artistic talents as well as his sense of humour, beautiful smile and willingness to help others. His free spirit and caring soul will live on.

Resting at Maher’s Funeral Home in Placentia, Wednesday, April 30th from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Thursday, May 1st at 10:00am. Funeral service to take place at Holy Rosary Church in Freshwater on Thursday, May 1st at 2pm.
