About Us

Our History

Maher's Funeral Home Ltd. was established in 1974 by brothers Gerard and Greg Maher. This was during a time when the need for professional and courteous care for families and their loved ones began to develop. Over the years, they worked closely together and developed a dependable reputation for bringing comfort to those in grief at the most troubling time in life.

Who We are Today

Today, Maher's Funeral Home is owned and operated by their nephew Paul Maher. Paul has worked with Maher's Funeral Home since 2000, and is a fully licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer. The services he makes available continue to offer individuals and families respectful, comforting, reliable and professional service during their time of need.

In 2011, his sister Karen Maher joined the funeral home as Business Manager, Family Support Administrator and Manager of Monument Sales. With a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Business Administration, and continuing education in the funeral services industry, she offers knowledgeable assistance and support to Maher's Funeral Home and the families it serves.
